Thank You for 12 Years

Today marks 12 years since the date that I went into business for myself and started my branding consultancy.

There have been bumps in the road and some lean times. I've made my share of mistakes. The business has evolved considerably, and continues to. There have also been a number of tremendous highs, not the least of which is seeing a client's business grow and knowing I had a hand in that. It's safe to say I've learned something every day.

Though Three Deuce Branding is a solo consultancy, I never worked alone.

My family and friends have tolerated crazy hours, bouts of stress and the occasional cancellation of plans, and have never been anything less than supportive and understanding.

I enjoy a network of experts whose work and character I trust, to whom I am fully comfortable referring business, and with whom I've had the pleasure of forming some terrific project teams.

Some local institutions - notably, the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and the Business Courier of Cincinnati - have been very good to me.

I also happen to think I've had the best clients a guy could ever ask for - smart, talented, committed to doing things right, and quite often very funny.

And there are a handful of people who have served as a kind of "advisory board" (whether knowingly or not!) to help me through the tough times and the difficult challenges.

You all know who you are, and you will always have my gratitude.

I expect the next 12 years to be every bit as exhilarating. Thank you all for making it one hell of a ride.
