Last night I learned that a local paper recently laid off a dozen marketing/ad sales people. Michigan effectively has no print newspapers any more; TV ad sales are down (as are their reach); and on and on. I'm curious to hear from marketers like you -- what's the future of marketing in the digital age? Are there new models emerging? Will they ever deliver the revenue of the old models? And how do brands break through the noise and profusion of media literally assaulting consumers' eyes and ears daily? That kind of stuff interests me.
